I dont know about you, but I'm always on the hunt for a true matte shadow, that is not chalky or patchy.
I've tried many, high-end and drug store. And thus far, none have compared to the Concrete Minerals Pro Matte Eyeshadow.
They are silky, vibrant, and have a very good staying power (even on my oily eyelids).
The color assortment is amazing.
From a bright beautiful Red(Risque) to a deep and enchanting blue (bruise), and plenty of colors in-between. 13 colors in total.
The price for 2.5 grams is just $8.00.

Currently I have four of these. So lets dig a little deeper into those fabulous shades.
Here are the swatches :
Picture
Bruise - A deep blue. Although it says Matte, there is a tiny bit of shimmer in it.I would still consider it a Matte. This is great for a smokey eye.

Toxic - This color just screams Spring to me.  Its not neon green, its more..creamy.

Risque - Hands down, my favorite red. A true red. I love to wet it down with a mixing medium and use it as eyeliner.
The only thing about this color, is it likes to stay, longer than you may want. So be sure to wear a base/primer and wash it off before bed.

Fame - This one takes a little more loving than the rest. Would be great on top of a white base, like NYX JEP in Milk.

On top of the Pro Matte Shades, I also bought two of the Mineral Eyeshadows.
The colors I have are Brat and Black Metal.
These are fabulous as well.
So many shades to choose from, its hard to believe I only have two! 50 in all.
I have a freaking bright Barbie pink -Brat-, and a a black that is best described by its given name : Black metal.
I also got some nifty samples in Strobelight,Rust,Revolver, and Kinky (my next purchase).
These are just $7.00 .Grab some!
Lets get to the swatches :

So sum this review up, Concrete Minerals is probably one of my favorite brands. For Mattes and Shimmery goodness. I highly suggest you try them.

So once upon a time I purchased a $20 dollar blush.
Outrageous.
And what is this whole its customized to you business??
When you open this small compact you shall see a beyond belief pink blush.
Its like Barbie made it.
Except it doesn't smell like plastic.
This blush doesn't have any of that "use me and you'll lose half of the powder to the air" .
Its clean. And not as bright as you think when applied with a light hand.
Upon using a bit more, it does adjust somewhat to your skin.
This was tested on me and my Mom.
It was (nothing) like a mini lab experiment.
The point of the story is, this blush, is one of my favorites. I might not use it everyday, but it gives such a fresh young look, blends beautifully, and is perfect for that little flush on the cheeks up to a bolder build-able coverage.
Give it a swirl-tap-and sweep on the cheeks if you have a few extra $20 laying around.

Just a few updates of what has been happening in the last months..

In December my life long friend and I , decided it was time to open up our own business.
This business is Z and B Photography.
I love and live for photography.
I wish this to go far, and finally be able to do what I love to do.

Next thing, I think I'm gonna be doing some beauty blogging.
Im not sure what will come of it, but I love beauty products, so writing about them should be nice.

Also, I had the best pizza of my life at SoHo Kitchen and bar.
Its the Italian sausage pizza.

With the sausage, it has caramelized onions, and peppers. I want some. Right now.

On the subject of food, Ive been trying to loose weight. So I'll just drool over the picture of the food right now.

Over and Out.

Sometimes, we need to step outside of our world. Look beyond to what others see, or to what we avoid everyday.
Will the mundane Ho-Hum remain?
Will the extraordinary begin to loose its glimmer?
Are we meant to chase our tails after something we will never reach?

Many of times, almost daily, I catch myself in today. Not looking farther, avoiding the future.
Living my life, unaware of the changes in the world around me.
Is this ignorance safe? ( Bliss it is not, when you are caught in a world wide of the fight of Real
World and your reality )

There will be changes coming. In what forms, it has yet to be seen.
But one thing is certain, no one can stop this.
I have many new great people in my life.
Some unexpected.
But I'm enjoying every minute of it.

There comes a time and place where love changes.
Where you once looked for infatuation, giggles, and something frisky, you know look for respect, warmth, and understanding.
There was one person who changed love for me, and another that made me realize, what love can be, and its not what we usually expect.
